  Birth
  
  The birth of Darsim should have been a joyful time for the Delliway's, but the celebration was short lived as unfortunate events played out. Dr Charles stood by his wives side as she clung to the new life she had brought in to the world, the sweet mocha colored eyes of a baby girl staring at her with all the love a child could have for their mother. A innocent smile was produced by Darsim as the tears from her mothers eyes trailed across her forehead, the smell of blood lay thick in the air as Lidia was starting to fade away from this world. Charles hung his head low as his hand gripped that of his wives lifeless body, Devon curled his arms about his new sister and bundled her tightly in to a woven cotton blanket. A look of sadness striking his features as he looked to his devastated dad, the family already knew the risk of his mother barring another child but she was stubborn and refused to allow Charles to rid of the baby that grew in her womb. Devon would move out of the room leaving his father to grieve, he knew that the child with his mothers eyes would be hard for his father to accept and decided to take on the huge responsibility of caring for his sister.
  
  Childhood
  
  Pipsqueak was the name given to her by her elder brother, a name that suited her well as she was always under foot of someone. Curious as most young where she found a fondness for exploration, a family trait that seemed to be embedded in to her genes. Academics where her first priority with a interest on becoming an avid scholar, the many places traveled brought her knowledge beyond the average person. A favorite exploration of hers was the trade-exchange she often traveled to with Dr Charles and Devon, she loved to meet new people and often found herself center of attention due to her short stature. It wasn't until many years later that she became self conscience on the way she looked, she was not easy to find clothes or even shoes for and most always had to have something tailored to fit. The death of her father to Typhoid fever at the age of ten had little to no effect on her, Charles had always been distant from her due to her resemblance to her mother. Devon was the one often times she would call papa and seek guidance from, he was ten years older then herself and most times people never questioned their connections. When she started nearing her teens she became rebellious, often not getting in trouble with the authorities of the places she was stationed. The worst part was her constant confrontation with those who belittle her size, a big pet peeve of hers that often got her in to small brawls. Despite her petite, short structure she had a mean fist on her and could knock any sailor out with her right hook. The rage of teen hormones eventually settled as she found her rightful place as a trade of imported and rare ales and liquors, she loved the lifestyle. When she became a full adult she left the comforts of home and her brother Devon to run the family business, she wanted an adventure and took to the seas with her imported-services towards a new isle she had never been to, Guildereim.

    Dear Diary
    
    I have docked in to the tether. I am still a bit wobbly with sea-legs, but it will soon pass. I managed to find the main hall of the area, the scent and sounds are so different as are the creatures that take up home here. Cori the boat worker has rented a room for me and unloaded my shipment of liquor, though I think it will take me a while to settle in I am trying to stay optimistic. I am not sure how business works here, so within the next few days I am going to do my research. A arena fight is about to start, I remember my brothers days in the arena so I am intrigued to go watch.

  • The Voyage

    Dear Diary:
    
    Today marks the first day of my voyage, I have boarded the ship and have set sale to an isle in Guildereim. The rocking of the ship has me a little sea sick, but I will soon adjust a ship-slave brought me some soothing tea to calm my tums. It will take a fourth night to arrive, I am excited to see if the isle will make accept my business but I wont lie my nerves are a wreck. This is the first time I have Devon's side, I promised him I would write when I get their. I hope he doesn't forget about me.
